I've chosen to promote interest-based negotiation and to help others benefit from it by accompanying them as a mediator.
In over 25 years of working as a negotiator, I have had the opportunity to successfully conclude numerous commercial, financial and social agreements in France, Canada and Germany.
I quickly became aware of the limits of a power-based approach to negotiation, and the damage it can do to long-term relationships. Introduced to alternative methods of conflict resolution during my law studies in Canada, I chose to adopt the principles of interest-based negotiation.
By building trust with all stakeholders, ensuring that mutual commitments are respected and striving for irreproachable integrity, I have been able to build constructive relationships focused on finding lasting solutions, not only during the negotiation phases, but throughout the life of the agreements I negotiated.
Convinced of the long-term benefits of this approach, I decided to promote it and help others benefit from it by accompanying them in their negotiations as a mediator.
I am trained as a mediator by the Centre de Médiation et d'Arbitrage de Paris (CMAP) and obtained the mediator certification issued by the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) and CMAP. This training has enabled me to intervene more effectively in mediation by sharpening my sensitivity to the psychological and relational dimensions of conflicts, while refining my proficiency in the mediation process.
In order to perfect my conflict management skills, I am currently enrolled in the Master 2 in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program at the University of Bordeaux.
